Thomas Wright M.D., F.A.C.P. is a board-certified surgeon who has been performing cosmetic procedures for over ten years. He was trained in liposuction by the inventor of tumescent liposuction, Dr. Jeffrey Klein. A member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Wright has been voted by his peers one of St. Louis Magazine’s TOP DOCS in 2009 and 2010.
Dr. Wright graduated from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and was a member of the medical honors society Alpha Omega Alpha. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Wright, a recipient of the AMA Physician Recognition Award and an appointed Howard Hughes Research Fellow, is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and is an instructor and faculty advisor for the American Society of Nonsurgical Aesthetics. He is a member and contributor of original research to the American College of Phlebology. As Medical Director of the Laser & Lipo Center in O’Fallon, MO, Dr. Wright has been interviewed about cosmetic procedures on local television and was featured on the cover of MD News in May 2010. He is a recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award 2010 and in 2011, voted on by patients, an award earned by five percent of the 720,000 eligible physicians nationwide.
Dr. Wright specializes in effective techniques which are the least invasive and do not require potentially harmful general anesthesia. He places a high emphasis on patient safety, comfort and ongoing well-being. His goal and that of his team is to produce the best quality surgery, experience and follow-up for each patient.
