Natural Breast Augmentation

Many women are looking for ways to enhance the look of their breasts. Commonly, breast augmentation was done through implants, which can pose some serious health risks. However, now there is a new procedure — natural breast augmentation — that can help provide the look and results you want.

What is Natural Breast Augmentation?

Our St. Louis Natural breast augmentation procedure uses the process of fat transfer or fat grafting to remove fat from one part of the body, such as the thighs, hips or abdomen, and transfer it into the breasts to enhance size and shape. Natural breast augmentation also has the added benefit of reducing the fat in the area in which it is removed, so it can be considered a two-in-one contouring procedure.

During the procedure, fat is harvested from one area using a gentle liposuction technique. The collected fat is then treated and purified, and then it is injected into the breasts. Additionally, during the purification process Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), also taken from the patient, is mixed with the harvested fat. This plasma will help stimulate collagen and elastin production to enhance healing and revascularization to produce natural, rounded shapes that are long lasting.

What is the Recovery Time After the Procedure?

After the augmentation procedure, the average initial recovery time will range from one to three days, with any associated swelling or soreness resolving itself over the following few weeks. You should be able to return to your normal routine within about two or three weeks; however, strenuous activities should be limited for at least four to six weeks.

Are There Any Risks Associated With Natural Breast Augmentation?

While natural breast augmentation is considered safe, it does come with a few risks such as shape irregularities, or the over-absorption of the transplanted fat. Other rare risks include the development of fat necrosis, fatty cysts, calcium formation, or false-positive mammograms.

How Much Does Natural Breast Augmentation Cost?

The cost of this procedure will vary from patient to patient. Dr. Wright and his staff will discuss the cost of natural breast augmentation during your initial consultation. Typically natural breast augmentation cost around $2,500 – $3,000.
