HealthTap’s “Most Thanked Phlebologist”

Dr. Wright is the medical director of Laser Lipo and Vein Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri and has been in practice for 23 years. He specializes in vein health and in treating swelling of the legs, spider veins and varicose veins. His patients also rely on him for liposuction treatments, skin resurfacing and numerous laser treatments for improving skin tone and texture. As an experienced liposuction surgeon, he specializes in tumescent liposuction using only local anesthesia to encourage fast recovery and patient safety.

This recent recognition is one of many that Dr. Wright has received in recent years. He’s also received the “Compassionate Doctor Award” from his patients who appreciate his genuine interest in their health and well-being.

Dr. Wright has written numerous publications including “Endovenous Laser Ablation Without Tumescent Anesthesia” for the American College of Phlebology 25th Annual Congress, “2010 Comparison of Pain and Discomfort Between 1470nm and 810nm Endovenous Lasers”, and “The effect of endotoxin on endothelium-derived relaxing factor and nitric oxide production in cultured bovine aortic endothelial cells” for the American Journal of Physiology.

Dr. Wright is a member of the American Board of Phlebology, a Fellow American College Physicians 2008 Diplomat, a member of the 2008 Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society 1991, and 2009 Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
