Apple cider vinegar has been found to relieve itchiness and inflammation. Dilute the vinegar with water using a one-to-one ratio and apply to the affected areas. Let it sit for approximately a half hour, then rinse.

Use a double boiler to gently warm the mixture. After letting it cool a bit, apply to the area and leave it on for several hours. In a few weeks of daily application, you should notice an improvement.

Medical Treatments

In cases of severe dermatitis, medical treatment may be necessary. Depending upon the case, treatments can include prescription topical lotions and creams or oral medications.

You should seek medical treatment if your condition doesn’t relieve itself within a short period of time or if it worries you. A physician should be able to diagnose exactly what is causing your dermatitis condition and then provide the best treatment path.
