What Botox St Louis Like?
Treatment is quick and minimally invasive. Dr. Wright makes a few very tiny injections into the muscles that cause frown lines. He will determine exactly where to administer the injections to achieve the best results. No anesthesia is required, although he may choose to numb the area with a cold pack prior to injecting. There is no post-treatment discomfort.
Dr. Wright of St. Louis Laser Liposucion Center is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
Cosmetic Botox injections are a neurotoxin that affects muscle tissue it is injected into, making it hard for that muscle to contract. Botox relaxes the muscles that produce between-the-eyebrows forehead frown and squint lines. This eases the muscles that make a frown or scowl, giving a more relaxed and youthful appearance. Dr. Wright, a skillful injector, bestows a calm and relaxed appearance that is not ‘frozen’ or strained. Natural movement is preserved, while deep frowns, scowls and glares are beautifully eased.
Now in use for 20 years, Our St. Louis BOTOX Cosmetic procedure is a non-surgical, physician-administered treatment. It does not fill lines or give volume, it merely causes muscles in the face to relax. BOTOX Cosmetic is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium. During treatment, very low doses of BOTOX® Cosmetic are administered via a few tiny injections directly into the muscles that cause those stubborn lines, causing them to ease the expression causing the wrinkles. The treatment is usually done in about 10 minutes, and no recovery time is needed. Within days, you may see an improvement that can last up to 4 months. Results may vary.
Please remember that BOTOX® Cosmetic is approved and intended for administration by physicians. This what is recommended by the FDA and Allergan, its manufacturer. Experienced physicians understand facial anatomy and are able to reliably give results without error. This is not a treatment to be administered by a beautician.
What Causes Frown Lines?
The lines that appear between your brows actually result from muscle movement and the passage of time. Two muscles are largely responsible for frown lines between the brows. When those muscles contract, they draw the brows together. As the skin becomes less elastic over time, repeated frowning can result in those moderate to severe lines between the brows. The wrinkles resulting from the expression can deepen as sun reacts to natural aging and sun exposure.
How Does BOTOX® Work?
Botox in St Louis is intramuscular, blocking the chemicals that cause facial muscles to contract, relaxing them. It generally last 3 months, but may last longer even up to six month in some cases.
Side effects reported for St. Louis Botox treatments are rare, and some of the most common include redness, itching and swelling. If you have an underlying medical condition, speak to our doctor to find out if Botox is right for you. Botox has a superior record of safety and efficiency, and good to know: it was used initially to treat infants with cerebral palsy.
BOTOX® Cosmetic has long been patients’ first choice for a non-surgical solution to wrinkles and lines. According to a recent survey of 200 dermatologists and plastic surgeons, Cosmetic Botox injections for wrinkles have the highest perceived patient satisfaction rating of all physician-administered treatments in 2003 and 2004. And for the past 3 years, BOTOX® Cosmetic was the most popular physician-administered cosmetic procedure in the United States (surgical and non-surgical combined).
When Will You See Results?
